Connecting outside of camp - come see Board President John Sheridan in a new play in Montreal!

As a non-profit organization we have an established Board of Directors. This mighty group of 13 guides Common Ground in many ways and we rely heavily on their input and feedback. As many of you know, our Board is a creative and diverse bunch – we have students, educators, artists, administrators, a social worker, a musician, and more. They’re also campers, parents, husbands and wives, environmentalists, Canadians, Americans, activists, homeschoolers, volunteers, and the list goes on. When you boil it down, our Board members are representative of the rest of our community as a whole - a diverse, welcoming group whoe care about Common Ground.

One of our creative Board members is Board President John Sheridan. He’s a graphic designer, husband to Esme Terry, and father of three. On Friday, an original play that John co-wrote opens in Montreal. “MocSphlat,” which also stars John, is a retelling of the classic Shakespeare play Macbeth, with a twist involving clowns. So, on a snowy weekend in February, what could be more fun than seeing a new play starring our very own Board President? (And a great excuse to get up to Montreal!) It will be running through February 13 and here’s their website for more information.

Break a leg John!
